Samsung Galaxy S21 One UI 4.1 is expected to release by the end of February

[Updated] Samsung Galaxy S21 One UI 4.1 update to allegedly release by February-end

New updates are added at the bottom of this story…….

The original story (published February 21, 2022) follows:

The Samsung Galaxy S22 series of mobile devices has recently been launched. However, the Samsung Galaxy S21 line (its predecessors) still has some of the most premium smartphones with a long future ahead of them.

Samsung is one of the companies that offers a longer period of software support for its phones. As expected, higher end models will get priority to receive updates.

As an example of the above, One UI 4.0 stable update (based on Android 12) is available for S21 series (Galaxy S21, S21 Plus and S21 Ultra) since mid-November last year.

Since then, the company has been working on One UI 4.1. As the name suggests, it will be an incremental update with some new features and improvements that Samsung smartphone users will appreciate.

Now we have a potential One UI 4.1 rollout date for the series thanks to tipster Matthew Reiter.

Samsung Galaxy S21 One UI 4.1 series rollout could start in late February

Reiter shared with us some screenshots of an alleged conversation with the Verizon support team. The conversation was about the arrival date of the One UI 4.1 update.

In the screenshots, the Verizon support employee notes that the rollout of One UI 4.1 will begin between the end of this month (February) and the beginning of March, according to their information.

In another response, Verizon Support points out that the release of UI Update 4.1 for the Samsung Galaxy S21 series will likely begin at the end of this month (February).

Maybe just for the Ultra variant at first

However, it seems that only the Galaxy S21 Ultra model will receive the One UI 4.1 update during this period. At this time, there is no clue as to whether vanilla S21 and S21+ will receive the update at the same time.

It seems unlikely that the entire S21 series will receive the One UI 4.1 update at the same time. However, at the moment, these are only speculations.

We’ll update this story when new details or tips about the Samsung Galaxy S21 One UI 4.1 update come out.
